Also traffic. Why do I live here again..? Today was spent purchasing equipment for work. I’ve never done that on someone else’s dime. Highly recommend.
There’s gotta be a story behind this. Right outside of Boeing South Seattle
South Seattle, folks
WINDOW WASHING SUPPLY!!! SQUEEEEE
Had to improvise at HQ
I prefer standard feet to the orange extendable ones, but that’s one battle I’m going to avoid. At least until I talk my boss into letting me build a dedicated window truck, with hand-picked gear for optimum window cleaning efficiency.
Can confirm. Was very quiet. Believe me, I was quite disappointed.
My newest guy drives this. I like him already
And back home. A gold 350 will always and forever bring me back to Tokyo Drift

Re: Traffic
Why do any of us put up with living here? Aside from the availability of work, great weather, and low income taxes, I don’t see why you’d want to live here now. I’m sure it was great before traffic became a total mess back when housing was affordable.

Love me some company credit cards... I don’t have huge expenses but I do rack up a couple hundred a month and the occasional big purchase that the company pays for. Always nice spending someone else’s money for a change.

Maybe its the weather but I’ve seen an absurd amount of nice cars the last two days. Also going on company spending sprees is one of the greatest perks of a job.

I’m scared to even look into what is considered more normal income tax.
I think the key is to live in an urban area and commute into a more rural area for work. Seems to be working for me, minus the occasional Seattle trips...

me too - I think everybody must have washed their toys since it isn’t supposed to rain for a week.

I should have said no income tax, but it is different. Usually it doesn’t amount to much, but it requires your effort. Oregon probably has one of the best/easiest/least expensive tax structures for people that spend most of their money, with a relatively low income tax and no sales tax. The difference is that income tax requires our effort, sales tax requires the effort of businesses, and there are fewer businesses, so WA probably spends less collecting taxes.
I wish I could do this. In SD I lived more urban and commutes backward further east every morning. I can count on one finger how many times I encounter even the slightest bit of traffic...
Sadly, that’s hard and expensive here. Not much work deep in the suburbs and urban housing is pricey. Employers of any size that need people in my field don’t really exist east of Redmond with the exception of a little in the Issaquah-North Bend area.
